Petro: 500 billion pesos remain in the environmental fund for Afro-Colombian communities
Bogotá, February 11 (Hibya) - Colombian President Gustavo Petro provided information about the remaining balance in the fund for projects in areas affected by the flood disaster.
Colombian President Gustavo Petro spoke about ongoing projects in the country and the recent flood disaster.
Petro said, "I repeat, there are still 500 billion pesos left in the environmental fund for ongoing projects with Afro-Colombian communities."
Referring to the financial burden of the tragedy caused by the flood and the economic situation of his country, Petro stated, "This tragedy can only be financed by the wealthiest because we have no money, as they say in my hometown. Those with basic income can invite us to a nice meal and a pleasant conversation among friends."
