Prevot: Central Asia has strategic importance
Brussels, June 3 (Hibya) - Belgian Deputy Prime Minister Maxime Prevot met with the ambassadors of Central Asian countries and Mongolia in Brussels.
Belgian Deputy Prime Minister Maxime Prevot stated that he held diplomatic meetings in Brussels.
Prevot explained that discussions focused on developing relations between Europe and Central Asia, as well as cooperation in strategic areas such as energy, climate, and transport corridors. Announcing that a new embassy will be opened in Tashkent, he said: “Central Asia is a region of growing strategic importance for Belgium and Europe.”
In his statement, Prevot added that the parties agreed to strengthen cooperation within the framework of multilateralism and international law.
