Moscow, August 14 (Hibya) - Russian President Vladimir Putin sent congratulatory messages to Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the country's Independence Day. Putin said relations between Russia and Pakistan are developing successfully.

According to a statement from the Kremlin, Putin said in his message that Russia-Pakistan relations are developing successfully.
Noting that the two countries cooperate in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian fields as well as on regional and global issues, Putin said Russia and Pakistan remain in close contact on important regional and international matters.
Putin expressed confidence that the two countries would continue their joint efforts to expand the scope of cooperation and contribute to strengthening international security and stability.
