Spajic: We expect political support from all 27 member states
Podgorica, February 17 (Hibya) - Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic said that completing the final phase of negotiations with the EU is one of Montenegro’s most important national priorities and that they expect political support from all 27 member states.
Prime Minister Spajic stated that in the year marking the 20th anniversary of regaining independence, completing the final phase of negotiations with the EU is one of Montenegro’s most important national priorities and that they expect political support from all 27 member states.
Spajic noted that during their meeting with the delegation of the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, chaired by David McAllister, they reaffirmed their political and institutional commitment to fulfilling the obligations of the European agenda and the Growth Plan, adding: “It is encouraging that AFET representatives are strong advocates of enlargement and that Montenegro has full support on its path to EU membership.”
