Sybiha: I appreciate Sweden’s swift and decisive action
Kyiv, April 3 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said they support the steps taken by Sweden against Russia’s “shadow fleet,” stressing that this fleet poses a serious risk to Europe’s security and environment.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha made a statement regarding Sweden’s activities related to security and sanctions enforcement in the Baltic Sea.
Backing Sweden’s stance, Sybiha said: “I appreciate Sweden’s swift and decisive action. This incident once again exposes the serious risks posed by Russia’s shadow fleet not only to security, but also to Europe’s shared environment.”
Sending a message of cooperation for the protection of regional security, Sybiha said: “Ukraine fully supports Sweden’s efforts to comply with international law, enforce sanctions, and protect the Baltic Sea. We must remain united and vigilant against such threats.”
