US President Donald Trump highlighted the level the United States has reached in space transportation and rocket launches through cooperation between the public and private sectors, and drew attention to the pace of growth in the number of launches by comparing 2016 figures with current data.

Referring to the rapid increase in recent years, Trump said, “In 2016, the US government and the private sector together launched only 22 rockets into orbit.”

Addressing the current situation and future expectations, Trump concluded his statement by saying, “Last year, we carried out around 200 orbital launches, and that number will continue to grow exponentially.”
