Trump: U.S. soldier rescued in operation in Iran
Washington, April 5 (Hibya) – U.S. President Donald Trump announced that a soldier who had been behind enemy lines in Iran was rescued alive through a search and rescue operation.
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the U.S. military conducted an operation to rescue a soldier who was behind enemy lines in Iran.
In his statement, Trump said: “In the past few hours, the U.S. military carried out one of the bravest search and rescue operations in our history.” Noting that the rescued soldier was located in a mountainous area in Iran, Trump added: “This brave warrior was behind enemy lines and was being pursued by our enemies.”
Trump stated that dozens of aircraft were deployed as part of the operation: “On my orders, dozens of aircraft were sent to the area. He is injured, but he will be fine.”
Trump also said that another U.S. pilot had been rescued in a similar way the previous day: “For the first time in military history, two U.S. pilots were rescued separately from deep within enemy territory.”
Trump added: “We never leave any American soldier behind.”
