US President Donald Trump stated that military personnel stationed at the base will have the opportunity to closely inspect the new aircraft. He also said that the former Air Force One will be flown from Türkiye to Mildenhall as a symbolic farewell, emphasizing that the journey is a tribute to the nation's military heroes.

Announcing the deployment of the new aircraft as a gesture to honor Air Force personnel, Trump said, "To honor our brave service members, we are sending our brand-new and truly magnificent Air Force One aircraft to RAF Mildenhall in the United Kingdom. We will give them the opportunity to tour the aircraft. Everyone is very excited, and we wanted them to be the first to see it."

Highlighting the route of the former aircraft and the significance of the event for military morale, Trump added, "In honor of the old days, we will fly the old Air Force One from Türkiye to Mildenhall. This short journey is absolutely worth it to give our great military heroes the opportunity to appreciate this beautiful aircraft, the newest addition to the Air Force fleet."
