Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha speaks with Spanish counterpart Albares
Kyiv, July 3 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha discussed Russia's attacks, air defense, and Ukraine's European Union (EU) accession process during a phone call with Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares.

Sybiha said he thanked Spain for its messages of solidarity and support following Russia's latest attacks against Ukraine.
The two ministers discussed the latest developments on the frontline and stressed the urgent need to strengthen Ukraine's air defense capabilities.
Ukraine's European Union accession process was also on the agenda. Sybiha thanked Spain for its support and emphasized the importance of opening the negotiating chapters without delay.
The parties agreed to continue close contacts in order to strengthen Ukraine's security and Europe's shared future.
