Zelensky: Air defense support is needed, and that requires political decisions
Kyiv, Aug. 6 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the greatest challenge facing his country is Russia's air attacks and called for increased air defense support.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the greatest challenge at present is the air attacks being carried out by Russia.
Emphasizing that the United States and its allies know exactly what Ukraine needs, Zelensky said: "The United States knows exactly what we need, and it is not something abstract. It is about protecting lives. These are real people, individual lives."
Stressing that political decisions are required to provide defense support, Zelensky said: "Air defense support is needed, and that requires political decisions. In Europe as well, and among the G7 countries."
