Zelensky had a phone conversation with Finnish President Stubb
Kiev, April 16 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone conversation with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone conversation with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
Zelensky said they discussed many issues including preparations for the next steps and responses to possible future Russian provocations. He said:
“I informed him of the situation on the front line and our need for air defense systems. When Ukraine receives strong support packages and when Russia faces heavy sanctions for prolonging the war, we will reach a fair and sustainable peace. We also focused on our relations with the United States and the U.S. proposal for unconditional ceasefire, which Russia has been rejecting for 36 days. However, principled, resolute steps can turn this refusal into a path to peace.”
