Kyiv, April 21 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a conversation with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

Referring to the main topic of the discussion, Zelensky said: “I spoke with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. First of all, we discussed unlocking the €90 billion support package.”
Stating that the funds would also strengthen Europe, Zelensky added: “These funds will strengthen not only Ukraine but all of Europe, and it is important that we start receiving them as soon as possible. The Ukrainian side has already taken all necessary steps.”
Highlighting progress in the EU accession process and technical readiness, Zelensky said: “We also discussed other European matters. Opening negotiation clusters regarding our EU membership is entirely fair; technically, Ukraine is already fully prepared.”
