Zelensky held talks with President of the Republic of Türkiye Erdoğan
Kyiv, March 10 (Hibya) - President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held talks with the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that they discussed the situation around Iran with President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Zelensky said, "We are ready to share our expertise to prevent the spread of the war and to protect lives, but at the same time Ukraine needs to strengthen its own air defense and we expect appropriate support from our partners."
Zelensky stated that Erdoğan said Türkiye is ready to host the next round of talks in a trilateral format. He noted that they appreciate this initiative and hope it will yield results, adding:
"I thank President Erdoğan for his support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, for his readiness to play a role in ensuring maritime security within the framework of the Coalition of the Willing, and for future decisions regarding Ukraine's energy sector."
