Kyiv, May 9 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated in his Europe Day message that his country is part of the European family and said that Ukraine is defending both its own future and Europe’s values.

Zelensky emphasized that while Ukraine is fighting for its independence and future, it is also defending Europe. He stressed that his country is protecting its right to have a future in Europe.
Stating that Europe has stood by Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war, Zelensky said this was not aid, but a conscious political choice.
President Zelensky concluded his message with the phrase “Glory to Ukraine,” emphasizing that Ukraine will continue to defend its state and its people.
