Albares: We discussed Africa’s importance for Spain and bilateral relations
Madrid, April 10 (Hibya) - Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, hosted Botswana’s Foreign Minister Phenyo Butale in Madrid, sending a message of strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, exchanged views on regional and global issues during his meeting with Botswana’s Foreign Minister Phenyo Butale.
Providing information on the content of the meeting, Albares said, “Yesterday, I hosted my counterpart from Botswana, Phenyo Butale, during his visit to Madrid. We discussed bilateral relations and Africa’s importance for Spain.”
Emphasizing global cooperation, Albares said, “We also discussed our shared commitment to multilateralism in order to effectively address global challenges.”
