Anand: As the G7, we strongly condemn Iran’s unjust attacks
Ottawa, March 21 (Hibya) - Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand stated that together with her G7 counterparts, they have taken a common stance against Iran’s attacks, emphasizing their commitment to regional stability and energy security.
Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand shared the G7 countries’ common position regarding rising tensions in the Middle East and the operations carried out by Iran.
Anand said that the allies are in agreement on supporting their partners in the region.
Stating that international pressure will be increased to stop the attacks, Anand said: “My G7 counterparts and I strongly condemn Iran’s unjust attacks and stand with our partners in the region.”
Listing the main issues that will be the focus of the meeting, Anand said: “We will reiterate our call for the immediate and unconditional halt of all attacks, the protection of civilians and critical infrastructure, and we will reaffirm our commitment to regional stability, energy security, and maritime security.”
