Araghchi: I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Afghan government
Tehran, March 17 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi thanked Afghanistan for its supportive stance against attacks on Iran and expressed hopes for peace and stability in the region.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi made a statement on the occasion of Ramadan regarding the solidarity shown by the Afghan government and people with Iran.
Expressing his satisfaction with Afghanistan’s support, Araghchi said: "During this blessed month of Ramadan, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Afghan government and people. They condemned the aggression of the United States and the Israeli regime and expressed their sympathy and support for the Iranian people and government."
Emphasizing Iran’s stance against external interventions, Araghchi stated: "With trust in God, we have stood firm and resolute against aggression."
Concluding his message with good wishes for the neighboring country, Araghchi said: "I hope that peace and tranquility will continue in Afghanistan as well."
