Zelensky: We can produce at least 2,000 combat-proven interceptor drones per day
Kyiv, March 17 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine has reached a daily production capacity of 2,000 interceptor drones and possesses technology capable of stopping drone attacks worldwide even under electronic warfare conditions.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared technical details about Ukraine’s defense industry capacity and advancements in counter-drone technologies.
Emphasizing production capabilities, Zelensky said: "First of all, we can produce at least 2,000 effective and combat-proven interceptor drones every day. We can produce more; it depends on investment. We need around 1,000 per day and can also supply our allies with at least another 1,000 daily."
Describing the technical capabilities of the systems, Zelensky stated: "We know how to create radar and acoustic coverage to respond to the approach of Shahed and other drones. We have software that allows radars to continue operating even under electronic warfare jamming. We analyze enemy frequencies in real time and respond accordingly."
Referring to the system’s global applicability, Zelensky added: "Thanks to this system, we understand how effective our defense is against almost any type of attack drone. If a Shahed needs to be stopped in the UAE, Europe, or the United Kingdom, we can do it."
