Australian Prime Minister Albanese thanks firefighters
Canberra, March 5 (Hibya) - Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese met with Australian firefighting teams who traveled to Canada to support wildfire suppression efforts and expressed his gratitude for their solidarity.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese honored the firefighting teams that went to Canada as a sign of the strong ties between the two countries and the culture of mutual assistance.
Prime Minister Albanese made the following remarks regarding the visit he carried out together with Mark Carney:
“In difficult times, friends stand by you. Australian and Canadian firefighters are doing exactly that for one another. Today I went to Canada with Mark Carney and thanked some members of our team who extended a helping hand.”
