Baqaei: Hamaney has become an inspiring legend in Islamic history
Tehran, March 1 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baqaei honored the life and struggle of Iran’s religious leader Ayatollah Ali Hamaney in a statement following his martyrdom.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baqaei issued an official statement regarding the death and assassination of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hamaney.
Baqaei stated that Hamaney led a life devoted to faith and commitment, emphasizing his struggle for Iran’s independence.
Highlighting Hamaney’s firm stance against foreign hegemony, Baqaei said, “He deeply loved Iran and its people, safeguarded Iran’s independence, firmly opposed all forms of foreign hegemony, and worked tirelessly and relentlessly to strengthen our country’s resilience and solidity.”
Baqaei added, “The final phase of his life – his honorable and glorious martyrdom on the tenth day of the blessed month of Ramadan at the hands of the most corrupt and criminal individuals on earth – has transformed him into an inspiring legend in the history of Iran and Islam.”
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson concluded by stating that Hamaney would remain “an eternal nightmare” for his assassins.
