Omani Foreign Minister Albusaidi: I still believe in the power of diplomacy
Muscat, March 1 (Hibya) - Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi stated that progress has been made in the Geneva talks between Iran and the United States, emphasizing that diplomacy is the only way to resolve the conflict.
Badr Albusaidi stressed that diplomatic channels must be preserved despite escalating tensions in the region.
Speaking about the future of the Geneva negotiations and the hope for peace, Albusaidi said: “I want to be very clear — the door to diplomacy is still open. The Geneva talks have made real progress toward an unprecedented agreement between Iran and the United States, and although the hope is to avoid war, war must not mean the end of hope for peace.”
He concluded: “I still believe in the power of diplomacy to resolve this conflict. The sooner the talks resume, the better it will be for everyone.”
