Zelensky made remarks regarding escalating tensions around Iran and discussions about regime change.

Criticizing the Iranian regime’s stance toward its own people and toward Ukraine, Zelensky said: “We are closely monitoring every change in the situation around Iran. The Ukrainian Intelligence Service, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs — everyone is involved. We are coordinating our actions with our partners. It is important that this opportunity for change in Iran is used properly. The Iranian people have long been almost alone in the face of violence from the regime.”

He added: “This regime, which has killed tens of thousands of its own citizens in recent months alone, constantly fuels and organizes wars in the region, and supplies Russia with ‘Shahed’ drones and their production technology, has created this situation itself.”

Zelensky concluded: “It is important to take a clear stance in support of people and human life. It is important that America’s determination and the determination of all the world’s people be effective.”
