Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar said he held a phone conversation with the EU High Representative and Vice President of the European Commission, Kallas.

Regarding the discussion, Dar stated: “We welcome the positive momentum in Pakistan-EU relations and discussed ways to further deepen bilateral cooperation.”

Dar noted that regional and international developments were also on the agenda, adding: “We exchanged views on recent regional and global developments, particularly regarding Iran. I once again reaffirmed the importance of sustained dialogue and engagement.”

Dar said that “both sides agreed to remain in close contact.”
