Dar speaks with Canadian Foreign Minister Anand
Islamabad, March 5 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a phone call with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand, discussing economic cooperation and regional stability.
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar held a telephone conversation with Canadian Foreign Minister Anand. During the call, bilateral relations between the two countries were reviewed and it was agreed to strengthen economic cooperation in various fields such as agriculture, clean energy, and critical minerals.
Minister Anand appreciated the contributions of the vibrant Pakistani diaspora in Canada. The parties also emphasized the importance of continuing high-level contacts in order to maintain the positive momentum in bilateral relations.
Regional developments were also discussed during the call, with Ishaq Dar highlighting the importance of dialogue, diplomacy, and adherence to international law to ensure stability in the Middle East and surrounding regions.
