IDF: A UAV intercepted on the northern border
Jerusalem, March 8 (Hibya) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was intercepted on the country’s northern border by a combat helicopter, and that some shells fired during the operation hit several houses.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) shared details regarding the aerial activity and interception operation on the northern border line.
In a statement by the IDF, it said: “This morning, a UAV on the northern border was intercepted by an Air Force combat helicopter.”
Referring to the impact of the operation on residential areas, the statement included the following:
“As part of the interception attempts, a small number of houses in Israeli territory were hit by artillery shells that were fired. No one was injured in the incident.”
