Independence Day celebration held at US Embassy in Ankara
Ankara, September 9 (Hibya) - US Ambassador to Ankara Tom Barrack said they came together with friends, partners and colleagues at the Independence Day celebration held at the embassy in Ankara to mark the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.
Barrack said in a post on his social media account that he was honored to host friends, partners and colleagues at the US Embassy in Ankara to celebrate America's 250th birthday.
Barrack said the Independence Day celebration was not only about commemorating US history, but also about celebrating the enduring partnership between the United States and Türkiye and the ties between the peoples of the two countries.
Barrack said people-to-people ties continue to strengthen the alliance between the United States and Türkiye and thanked everyone who attended the celebration.
