Saar discusses Israel-UK relations with Reform UK leader Farage
Jerusalem, September 9 (Hibya) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar met with Reform UK leader Nigel Farage following steps taken by the Labour government in the United Kingdom toward Israel. Saar thanked Farage and Reform UK for their support for Israel.
Saar said in a post on his social media account that he met with Reform UK leader Nigel Farage following steps taken by the Labour government toward Israel.
Saar said he thanked Farage and his party for their support for Israel, adding that Farage told him he was pleased to speak at a Reform Friends of Israel event during the party conference held in Birmingham last week.
Saar said Farage gave him a firm assurance that if Reform UK formed the government, it would reverse the damage caused to UK-Israel relations by the Labour government and its policies.
