Stockholm, February 27 (Hibya) - Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson visited the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, which is docked in Malmö, and highlighted the defense cooperation between France and Sweden within NATO and the support given to Ukraine.

During the visit, Kristersson met with allied forces and emphasized the strategic role of the ship in NATO's deterrence and defense capabilities.
Referring to the strong partnership between France and Sweden, Prime Minister Kristersson said, "This impressive aircraft carrier supports NATO's deterrence and defense activities. France and Sweden make strong contributions to European security, growth, and competitiveness."
Regarding the importance of the visit, Kristersson pointed to the common vision of the two countries, stating, "Together, we defend Ukraine, a rules-based world order, and Europe. I wish the crew success for the remainder of their mission."
