Lahbib: Dialogue and respect for international humanitarian law are urgent priorities
London, April 15 (Hibya) – European Union (EU) Commissioner for Equality, Preparation, and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib stated that ending hostilities, dialogue, and respect for international humanitarian law are urgent priorities.
Commissioner Lahbib announced that the EU team, at the organized Sudan Conference, pledged over 522 million euros in aid for Sudan in 2025.
Lahbib stated that the EU continues its commitment to the protection of civilians, ensuring access to humanitarian aid, and supporting a peaceful, democratic Sudan, adding: “Ending hostilities, dialogue, and respect for international humanitarian law are urgent priorities.”
