Leyen: We are grateful to Romania for ensuring the security of the Black Sea region
Brussels, February 26 (Hibya) – President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen met with Romanian Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan.

Stating that they are grateful to Romania for ensuring the security of the Black Sea region, Leyen said: "Your solidarity with Moldova and Ukraine is commendable. Therefore, we will increase our support for you and our other Eastern communities."
Leyen emphasized that Romania, by advancing through challenging reforms and the NextGenEU project, is demonstrating a determined stance in the fight against the excessive budget deficit.
