Saidov: We will further develop our strategic partnership with the United Kingdom
London, February 26 (Hibya) – Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov announced that he held comprehensive and forward-looking talks with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper.
Saidov stated that the meetings focused on further expanding and strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
The discussions addressed advancing comprehensive bilateral cooperation in priority areas, including trade and investment, sustainable infrastructure development, energy cooperation, and strengthening regional connectivity.
Within the framework of the meeting, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were also signed to facilitate the implementation of joint projects, the effective use of green finance instruments, and the expansion of education and academic exchanges. Saidov emphasized that these steps would accelerate cooperation between the two countries in a practical and results-oriented manner.
