Macron: Ariane 6 launched for the first time with four boosters
Paris, February 12 (Hibya) - French President Emmanuel Macron announced that Europe’s new-generation rocket Ariane 6 was launched for the first time with four boosters.
Macron stated that with this configuration, Ariane 6 is Europe’s most powerful launch vehicle.
He noted that the rocket placed 32 satellites into orbit as part of Amazon’s satellite constellation project and emphasized that Amazon chose Europe for this significant launch.
Describing the launch as “a French success and a collective European success,” Macron congratulated the teams involved in the project.
