German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has intensified diplomatic contacts regarding rising tensions and regional developments in the Middle East.
Merz said, “On Tuesday in Washington, I will meet with President Trump to discuss the latest developments in the Middle East.”
Emphasizing the need for unity with allies, Chancellor Merz stated, “I am in close contact with our partners in Europe, Israel, and the broader region. This is not the time to lecture our allies, but a time to come together in unity.”
