Palestine condemns attack on UAE-owned tanker
Ramallah, August 8 (Hibya) - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the attack on a tanker belonging to UAE-based ADNOC while it was passing through the Strait of Hormuz, expressing support for the United Arab Emirates.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates issued a statement regarding the attack on a tanker belonging to UAE-based ADNOC while it was passing through the Strait of Hormuz. The ministry strongly condemned the attack and expressed full solidarity with the leadership, government, and people of the United Arab Emirates.
The statement said Palestine supports the measures taken by the UAE to protect its security and sovereignty. It added that targeting commercial vessels and threatening the safety of maritime navigation constitute a clear violation of international law, and that such attacks pose a direct threat to the security of sea routes as well as regional and international stability.
Palestine stated that it rejects and condemns all attacks targeting the security and stability of the United Arab Emirates.
