Maria Zakharova said that the plans of the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, to set conditions for Moscow before the EU considers supporting peace in Ukraine prove that the European bureaucracy has no intention of ending the conflict.

She also stated that the West continues to provoke Kiev, escalating the tensions.

Zakharova also mentioned that the EU has already partially intervened in Ukraine, adding: “The only thing left is Ukraine’s ‘partial’ membership in the EU — in other words, full separation. These endless word games played by the EU have dragged Europe into such a deplorable state.”
