Saar: I thank North Macedonia for arresting 7 suspects
Jerusalem, May 1 (Hibya) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar expressed his thanks to the government of North Macedonia for the arrest of the perpetrators of the attempted attack on the Jewish community building in Skopje.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar issued a statement regarding the operation carried out by security forces in North Macedonia.
Referring to the attempted attack and the arrested suspects, Saar said: “I thank the government of North Macedonia and my friend, North Macedonian Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski, for arresting 7 suspects in the antisemitic arson attempt against the Jewish community building in Skopje on April 12.”
Emphasizing the stance shown by North Macedonian authorities, Minister Saar said: “Their swift and decisive action to hold the perpetrators accountable underscores North Macedonia’s commitment to protecting the Jewish community.”
