Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated that during his meeting with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, he received information about the latest developments in the Middle East and noted that Estonia is closely monitoring the situation.

Tsahkna said that the death of Ayatollah Hamaney represents a significant blow to Iran’s ally Russia, adding, “The death of Ayatollah Hamaney means a significant blow to Iran’s ally Russia and creates an opportunity for the Iranian people to shape their own future.”

Emphasizing that Iran must not obtain nuclear weapons, Tsahkna stated, “Iran must never acquire nuclear weapons. Pressure through sanctions should continue until Iran ends its aggression abroad and repression against its own people. Iran’s future must be determined by its people.”
