Tsahkna: We must eliminate the gray areas that give Russian aggression a green light
Tallinn, May 2 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna made a statement on Ukraine’s importance for European security and its membership processes in the European Union (EU) and NATO.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna assessed the relationship between Ukraine and Europe.
Emphasizing Ukraine’s importance for Europe, Tsahkna said: “It is not only Ukraine that needs us. More importantly, Europe needs Ukraine.”
Referring to security architecture and enlargement strategies, Tsahkna stated: “We must include Ukraine in the EU and NATO and eliminate the gray areas across Europe that have too often given a green light to Russian aggression.”
