Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Umerov announced that work is continuing within the framework of the negotiation process in Geneva.

Umerov stated that the talks are being held with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

Umerov noted that Davyd Arakhamia, Oleksii Sobolev, and Daryna Marchak are part of the Ukrainian delegation, adding that together with the government’s economic team, mechanisms for Ukraine’s economic support and reconstruction, tools for attracting investment, and frameworks for long-term cooperation will be discussed.

Umerov also indicated that preparations for the next trilateral round of negotiations are on the agenda, stating, “Positions need to be synchronized before this stage.”

He further emphasized that the humanitarian track and the possible exchange issue are important agenda items, expressing expectations for concrete results regarding the return of citizens, and said, “We are focusing on practical solutions. We will provide information on the results after the meeting concludes.”
