Vance believes the continuation of the conflict in Ukraine will not bring victory to Kiev
Washington, April 29 (Hibya) – U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance believes that continuing military operations will not help Kiev gain an advantage in the conflict with Russia.
Speaking online on the Charlie Kirk Show, Vance said: "If this doesn’t stop, the Ukrainians will not win the war. I think there’s a strange belief in the mainstream media that if this goes on for a few more years, Russia will collapse, Ukrainians will reclaim their land, and everything will return to how it was before the war. That’s not the reality we live in."
According to Vance, if it continues, "it could escalate into nuclear war." The Vice President added, "This must stop. This administration’s policy is to stop it."
Regarding the possibility of reaching a peace agreement between Moscow and Kiev, Vance said he is more optimistic than he was two weeks ago: "The greatest breakthrough is that we got them to talk about what needs to be done to stop the war."
"The President is making sure that all his people, including myself, are working hard to achieve that ultimate goal," he added.
