Lahbib: 147 tons of vital aid supplies arrived in Yangon
Brussels, April 29 (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib announced that 147 tons of vital aid supplies have arrived in Myanmar’s capital, Yangon.
Lahbib stated that one month after the devastating Myanmar earthquake, the need for aid persists and the EU’s support continues.
She added that this week, 147 tons of vital aid from UNHCR and IOM reached Yangon via two EU Humanitarian Air Bridge flights.
