White House: Benefits provided to illegal immigrants will end
Washington, August 19 (Hibya) - The White House said the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump is working to end taxpayer-funded benefits provided to illegal immigrants.
In a statement, the White House said Trump and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent are determined to cut off taxpayer-funded benefits for illegal immigrants.
The statement argued that the measure would save American taxpayers billions of dollars, saying: “The era of illegal immigrants collecting taxpayer-funded benefits is over.”
The White House said the measure would restore confidence in the tax system and put Americans first.
