IDF: Commander of Palestinian Islamic Movement in Lebanon neutralized
Jerusalem, April 4 (Hibya) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that Hassan Farhat, the Western Regional Commander of the Palestinian Islamic Movement in Lebanon, was neutralized in a targeted operation.
In a statement, the IDF said that an attack was carried out in the Sayda region of southern Lebanon, resulting in the neutralization of Hassan Farhat, the Western Regional Commander of the Palestinian Islamic Movement in Lebanon.
The statement noted that during the war, Farhat led the planning of numerous attacks against the IDF and Israeli civilians. It added:
“In recent months, he continued to plan terrorist attacks against Israel, and his activities posed a threat to Israel and its citizens. The IDF will continue to operate against Palestinian Islamic Movement militants wherever they may be.”
