Pavel: Iran’s attacks further deepen tensions in the Middle East
Prague, March 5 (Hibya) - Czech President Petr Pavel held a phone call with the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Stating that he discussed the current security situation in the region, Pavel said he condemned the attacks targeting Qatar and other Gulf countries. Pavel noted that Qatar has long played a mediating role in diplomatic negotiations.
“Iran’s attacks are further deepening tensions in the Middle East, and therefore everything possible must be done to resolve the conflict constructively. I conveyed the Czech Republic’s solidarity and our mutual friendship to the Emir,” he said.
