Tsahkna: Estonia to allocate 5.4% of GDP to defense starting next year
Tallinn, May 15 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna announced that Estonia will allocate 5.4% of its GDP to defense starting next year.
Foreign Minister Tsahkna stated that Estonia will devote 5.4% of its GDP to defense beginning in 2025.
At the NATO Foreign Ministers' meeting in Antalya, Tsahkna emphasized the importance of setting a new and ambitious defense spending target for all NATO allies. “This target will be decided at the upcoming Hague Summit,” he said.
