Budrys offers condolences over death of Norway’s King Harald V
Vilnius, August 28 (Hibya) - Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys issued a message of condolence following reports of the death of Norway’s King Harald V.
Budrys said Harald V served Norway for more than 30 years with a sense of duty, wisdom and dignity, adding that he shared the grief of the Norwegian people.
Budrys said: “I learned with deep sadness of the passing of His Majesty King Harald V of Norway.” Noting that Harald V served Norway for more than 30 years “with dignity, wisdom and an unwavering sense of duty,” Budrys said the king had earned respect and admiration far beyond the country’s borders.
Budrys added: “I extend my deepest condolences to the people of Norway and to everyone mourning this great loss. Our thoughts are with the Norwegian nation during this difficult time.”
