Lahbib: Mobilization is more important than ever
Brussels, April 29 (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib stated that mobilization is more important than ever.
Commissioner Lahbib met with the Secretary General of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), Jan Egeland.
She said that they had an active discussion with Egeland about today’s urgent humanitarian challenges, and added:
"Mobilization is more important than ever. We addressed the crises in Gaza, Syria, DRC, Sudan, and Afghanistan. We also focused on U.S. funding cuts, ongoing UN reform, and humanitarian reset."
