Guterres: The world cannot watch the disappearance of the two-state solution
New York, April 29 (Hibya) – United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called on the international community to find a lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Guterres urged UN member states to take "irreversible steps" to implement the two-state solution.
"The world cannot watch the disappearance of the two-state solution," said Guterres, warning against extremists on both sides seeking to undermine the peace process. He emphasized that achieving lasting peace in the region requires a solution that addresses the legitimate demands of both parties.
