Pavel: Greater connection with Europe is part of strengthening our resilience
Prague, April 29 (Hibya) – Czech President Petr Pavel said that greater connection with Europe is a prerequisite for economic growth and part of strengthening resilience.
President Pavel emphasized that closer ties with Europe are key to economic growth and national resilience.
He explained that the Three Seas Initiative focuses on north-south connections in transportation, energy, and digital infrastructure between the Baltic, Adriatic, and Black Seas, adding:
"The Czech Republic’s priority at the ongoing summit in Warsaw is the construction of a high-speed railway from Brno to Ostrava, which will connect us not only to Poland but also to the Baltic states. The summit also aims to enhance security, with main political topics including the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine and strengthening the resilience of NATO's eastern flank."
