Mexico’s most wanted drug lord El Mencho killed
Mexico’s most wanted man, Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, the leader of the Jalisco New Generation (CJNG) drug cartel, was killed in an operation.
According to BBC, Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, known as “El Mencho,” was killed on Sunday during a military operation in the state of Jalisco.
The United States had previously offered a $15 million reward for the capture of El Mencho.
The U.S. Department of State issued a shelter-in-place warning for the states of Jalisco and Tamaulipas, as well as for certain areas in the states of Michoacan, Guerrero and Nuevo Leon.
